Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bea Mason (ranked 2537 p4p, 303 weight class) and Yordan Andonov (ranked 5075 p4p, 504 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yordan Andonov!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andonov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mason as he jumps to the side.
Mason shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Andonov sprawls well. Andonov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mason gets slowly back to his feet.
Mason tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Andonov defends well and Mason ends up having to push Andonov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mason stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mason wants it to stay on the feet.
Mason fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bea Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mason shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Andonov napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Andonov sneaks out the side door and pushes Mason away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mason leaves Andonov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Mason appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Andonov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mason!

Andonov is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Mason is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Mason gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Mason is looking for a sweep. Andonov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mason pushes Andonov off but Andonov dives into side control.
Mason tries to buck Andonov off but Andonov is having none of it.
Mason is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Andonov's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Mason trying to hold on to Andonov's head to control him but Andonov postures up.
Andonov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Andonov lands with a punch from half guard.
Andonov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Mason taking some punishment here, with Andonov in his half guard.

Andonov winds up and cracks Mason with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Andonov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mason with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Mason tries to get to full guard but Andonov has control of the leg.
Andonov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mason. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Andonov lands a nice short elbow.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Andonov working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andonov scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Mason is rocked!
Andonov lands strikes from half guard.
Oh Mason is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Andonov passes into side control, despite Mason's attempt to control the position.
Andonov in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Mason looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Andonov turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
