The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison Jr. scores with a decent looking hook.
A punch lands to the side of Johnson 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Johnson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Morrison Jr. cracks a nice hook into Johnson's ribs.
Morrison Jr. connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Demitrious Johnson has been cut.
Johnson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Johnson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Morrison Jr.'s waist but Morrison Jr. gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnson off to one side.
Morrison Jr. swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Morrison Jr., as that shot connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson has his takedown stuffed
and Morrison Jr. cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
David Morrison Jr. has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Demitrious Johnson.

and Morrison Jr. connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

David Morrison Jr. is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Morrison Jr. moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
That has opened up Demitrious Johnson's cut even more.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Morrison Jr. feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Johnson sprawling to the canvas! Johnson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Morrison Jr. finish him?!
Johnson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Morrison Jr. moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Johnson! Morrison Jr. continues to tee off on Johnson, landing with a left and a right! Morrison Jr. connects with a right hand that leaves Johnson sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Morrison Jr.!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). David Morrison Jr.!
A relieved looking David Morrison Jr. thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
