Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xing Pugberg (ranked 463 p4p, 24 weight class) and Rubens Charles (ranked 1274 p4p, 66 weight class). Rubens Charles has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charles closes the distance and clinches up with Pugberg, looking for a takedown. Charles pushes Pugberg against the cage but Pugberg circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pugberg lands with a nice body punch.
Charles defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pugberg.
Charles tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Charles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pugberg tries to avoid it but Charles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pugberg to the ground. Pugberg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Xing Pugberg.
Well Pugberg has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
