Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wooden Pencil (ranked 3507 p4p, 397 weight class) and Mario Jones (ranked 1863 p4p, 228 weight class). Pencil's entrance music is Full Retard. A fine choice. Wooden Pencil had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 45 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wooden Pencil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mario Jones!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to clinch up.
Pencil pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Jones back to the cage. Pencil follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Mario Jones has been cut.
Pencil avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jones on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Pencil misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jones.
Jones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pencil.
Pencil keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pencil dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jones. That did some damage!
Jones lands a lovely overhand right.
Pencil throws a lazy body kick
and Jones counters with an outside leg kick.
Pencil keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pencil has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Steel's Grappling Penn in the buildup to the fight.
Pencil misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pencil misses with a straight right.
Jones scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Pencil finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A little jabbing left from Jones on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pencil stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jones.
Jones throws a lazy uppercut
and Pencil scores with a counter punch that sends Jones to the canvas! Pencil smells blood - he's punishing Jones with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jones has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wooden Pencil!
