Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Trowning (ranked 1611 p4p, 202 weight class) and Kai Raymaker (ranked 1619 p4p, 205 weight class). Trowning comes to the cage accompanied by Shotgun - backyard brawl. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Henry Trowning!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kai Raymaker!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raymaker on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Trowning throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Raymaker sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Raymaker swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Raymaker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Trowning moves away.
Raymaker lands a slapping body shot.
A shot to the body from Raymaker misses
letting Trowning counter with a right hand.
Trowning misses with a body shot
letting Raymaker counter with a right hand.

Raymaker cracks Trowning with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Trowning looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Raymaker finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Raymaker tries to bum rush Trowning with a series of wild strikes but Trowning uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Raymaker lands a big right hand that sends Trowning crashing to the mat! Raymaker stays standing though and waves Trowning back to his feet!

Raymaker slips a straight right by Trowning.
Raymaker ducks under a wild hook from Trowning.
Trowning has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gentlemans Offence and Defense System in the buildup to the fight.
Henry Trowning seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Raymaker throws a big shot that misses.

Trowning misses with an uppercut
and Raymaker connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Raymaker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Good exchange - Raymaker coming out on top.
Raymaker lands with a nice body punch.
Trowning doesn't manage to clinch there - Raymaker circles away.
A big right from Raymaker misses.
Raymaker throws a body punch but Trowning moves out of range.
Trowning lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Trowning misses the jab.
Trowning looks to throw the jab but Raymaker is out of range.
Raymaker looks to land a right hand but Trowning moved out of range.

Raymaker displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Trowning throws out the jab.
Trowning staying out of range there.
A little feinted left hand from Trowning on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Raymaker rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Trowning counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Trowning keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Trowning scores with a nice strike.
Trowning smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Raymaker moves out of range of the strikes.
Raymaker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Trowning.
Trowning fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Trowning swings widly with a right hand
enabling Raymaker to counter with a crisp jab.
Trowning is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Trowning throws a big shot that misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Trowning ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raymaker moves away.
It seemed like Raymaker was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Trowning uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Raymaker throws a hook but Trowning blocks it.
Trowning slips a straight right by Raymaker.
Trowning stuns Raymaker with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Trowning throws a hook to the side of Raymaker's head but Raymaker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Trowning closes the distance and pushes Raymaker back into the cage.
Raymaker tries to work over Trowning's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Raymaker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Trowning misses with an uppercut

and Raymaker counters with a crisp right hand that drops Trowning! Raymaker lets Trowning back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Trowning takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Trowning swings away with a body shot that misses

and Raymaker counters with a nice right hand that sends Trowning toppling to the canvas! Trowning scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Raymaker finish him?!
Oh Trowning is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Trowning slips under a jab.
It looked like Trowning wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Trowning throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Trowning seems to have got his legs back now.
Raymaker swings widly with a right hand
and Trowning counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Trowning darts in trying to clinch
and Raymaker counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Trowning has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kai Raymaker!
Kai Raymaker decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
