Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Boris Bulletzowich (ranked 1354 p4p, 169 weight class) and Mew Choo (ranked 1366 p4p, 170 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boris Bulletzowich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mew Choo!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bulletzowich tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Choo was well out of range. Poor timing from Bulletzowich.
Bulletzowich takes one on the button.
We've been informed that Choo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Choo on the wrong end of a nice hook.


It looks like Mew Choo has been cut.
Bulletzowich throws out a loose jab but Choo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boris Bulletzowich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bulletzowich swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It seemed like Choo was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Bulletzowich avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Choo lands an overhand right.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bulletzowich shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bulletzowich showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bulletzowich is nestled in close to Choo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Bulletzowich looks to land a strike but Choo avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Choo looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bulletzowich has picked Choo up and slammed him! Choo can't keep hold of the triangle and Bulletzowich manages to pass to side control!

Choo takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Choo is looking for a sweep.
Bulletzowich is looking to take a break and control but Choo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Bulletzowich lands an elbow.
Choo is looking to regain half guard here but Bulletzowich keeps moving and retains side control.
Bulletzowich scores with punches from side control.

Bulletzowich is working Choo over with some ground and pound from side control.

Choo is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Bulletzowich fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Choo sprawls well initially but Bulletzowich persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Choo looking for subs from the bottom but Bulletzowich mounts him!
Bulletzowich can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Choo is looking to escape.
Bulletzowich has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Choo is bucking up trying to escape but Bulletzowich cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Bulletzowich postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Choo badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Bulletzowich around the waist but Bulletzowich pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Bulletzowich is the winner by TKO! Bulletzowich jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boris Bulletzowich!
Boris Bulletzowich decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
