Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Eholm (ranked 4854 p4p, 540 weight class) and Clive Grissom (ranked 4742 p4p, 530 weight class). Clive Grissom told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grissom misses with a hook
and Eholm counters with a left and a right that stings Grissom.

Eholm uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Grissom.
Eholm has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Malmi Aitta in the buildup to the fight.

Eholm stalks Grissom and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Grissom's face. Grissom staggers backwards, shaken.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Grissom cracks Eholm with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Grissom has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Eholm to stand back up!

Eholm connects with a leg kick. Grissom looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Eholm swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Grissom.

Eholm getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Eholm throws a body shot but no joy.

Grissom might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

BOOM! Grissom lands a beautiful left hook that drops Eholm. Eholm tries to recover but Grissom is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Eholm lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
