Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Dimitrov (ranked 575 p4p, 79 weight class) and Sendou Kitano (ranked 485 p4p, 66 weight class). Dimitrov comes to the cage accompanied by Drake - Energy. Kitano comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hokuto No Ken - You wa Shock kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dimitrov staying out of range there.
Dimitrov defending well as Kitano loads up on a big left hand.

Dimitrov tries to keep at a distance but Kitano has taken the fight into the clinch.

Dimitrov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kitano throws a body shot but no joy.
Kitano throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kitano swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Dimitrov makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Dimitrov walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kitano checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Dimitrov scores with a jab.
Kitano comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Kitano misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dimitrov.
It appears Dimitrov was looking to counter with a kick there.
Dimitrov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Kitano fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Dimitrov is out of range.
Dimitrov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Dimitrov throws a body kick that misses.
A little jabbing left from Kitano on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Kitano cracks Dimitrov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kitano just misses with a punch to the body.

letting Dimitrov counter with a right hand.

Kitano lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kitano looks to land a right hand but Dimitrov moved out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Dimitrov on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kitano pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It appears Dimitrov was looking to counter with a kick there.

Dimitrov cracks Kitano with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dimitrov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kitano to stand back up!

A clash of legs there as Dimitrov blocks the low kick.
Kitano displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Dimitrov throws out the jab.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A solid leg kick lands there for Dimitrov.

Oooooh!!! Dimitrov has knocked Kitano down with a huge combo! Dimitrov steps away and waves a wobbly Kitano back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Kitano is still on wobbly legs! Can Dimitrov finish him?

That has opened up Sendou Kitano's cut even more.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Dimitrov looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Dimitrov backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Kitano's temple! It sends Kitano violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Dimitrov celebrates and the doctors try to help Kitano!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Daniel Dimitrov!
Daniel Dimitrov decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
