Ward's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Spazz - Crush Kill Destroy. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Scarn avoids it really well and circles away.
Ward shoots in and drives through. Scarn sprawls well.
Scarn let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Scarn cracks Ward with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ward is trying hard to land a takedown here. Scarn sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Ward. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Scarn, as that shot connected.

Scarn connects with a combination that backs up Ward into the cage. Scarn lands a flurry of punches that gets past Ward's guard. Ward is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Scarn bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
