Telfer tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Winnfield counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Telfer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Telfer is desperately trying to improve his position but Winnfield has a good base and remains in mount.
Winnfield cracks Telfer with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Winnfield takes Telfer's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Telfer is in trouble.
You can see the frustration on Telfer's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Winnfield has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Telfer is defending well but eventually Winnfield manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Telfer has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
