Hao kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bushido : Honor of the Samurai. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Segey Taranin enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hao throws a low kick, looking for Taranin's leg but Taranin calmly moves out of range.

Taranin controls Hao momentarily but Hao frees himself.
Hao wants to get up but he can't break Taranin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We've been hearing good reports from Hao's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Taranin shoots for a takedown but Hao saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Taranin feints a jab promting Hao to slip. Taranin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Hao slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hao misses with a hook. Taranin ducked under it nicely.
Taranin takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Hao walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Taranin drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Hao swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Taranin's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
