PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karma Chameleon (ranked 4820 p4p, 181 weight class) and Birago Balewa (ranked 3775 p4p, 159 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Balewa feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Chameleon is staying active underneath Balewa, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Balewa thows a huge punch but Chameleon dodges it nicely.

Balewa is looking for a kimura but Chameleon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Balewa to get the leverage.
Balewa working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
