Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Korean Zombie (ranked 784 p4p, 88 weight class) and Bronson Hughes (ranked 884 p4p, 98 weight class). Zombie comes to the cage accompanied by ZOMBIE. Hughes has chosen Slam - By: Onyx as his entrance music. Bronson Hughes has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Korean Zombie's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zombie blocks a head kick by Hughes.
Zombie wants to clinch up but Hughes keeps it at a distance.
Zombie tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hughes defends well and Zombie ends up having to push Hughes into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hughes misses with a hook. Zombie ducked under it nicely.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hughes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Hughes is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Hughes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Zombie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hughes uses his free foot to push down on Zombie's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Zombie.

Hughes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Zombie does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Bronson Hughes has got the better of the ground game so far.
Hughes is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Hughes wants to control from the top but Zombie keeps moving.
Zombie pushes Hughes off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Zombie throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hughes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zombie is in Hughes's guard.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zombie, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
