Knight comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Compton kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pratt throws a sloppy head kick and Knight moves out of range easily.

Pratt shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Knight manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Knight controls Pratt momentarily but Pratt frees himself.
Knight wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Pratt is now in half guard.
Knight wants to get back to full guard.
Knight gets full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pratt won't allow Knight to sweep him here.
Knight has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Pratt gets to his feet - Knight follows without any prompting.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Knight with a nice cross.


It looks like Jewel Pratt has been cut.
Knight throws a combination that misses
and Pratt counters with a series of strikes. Knight will be more careful next time no doubt.
Pratt shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Knight but Knight pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pratt with a lazy takedown attempt
and Pratt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Knight misses with the combination.
Pratt shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jewel Pratt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pratt moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Pratt tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Knight defends well and Pratt ends up having to push Knight into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Knight lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pratt circles away quickly and effectively.
Pratt seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Pratt showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Knight.
Knight connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pratt's hands.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Knight throws a body punch but Pratt moves out of range.
Pratt tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Knight defends well and Pratt ends up having to push Knight into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Knight unleashes a big counter combination but Pratt bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Pratt fails with a takedown attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pratt slips a jab and a cross from Knight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pratt.
Knight is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Pratt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Knight.
Pratt jabbing away but nothing is landing.
And Knight tries to counter it with a takedown but Pratt pushes his down on his head and steps out.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Knight! Pratt is backing up but he can't get away as Knight lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Pratt and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Suge Knight!
Suge Knight decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
