Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Mutou (ranked 2571 p4p, 361 weight class) and Katsu Laoka (ranked 2812 p4p, 389 weight class). Katsu Laoka has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

35 - 23 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Katsu Laoka!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutou lands an overhand right.
Mutou throws a body punch but Laoka moves out of range.
Mutou misses with a wild combination.
Laoka steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Some bone on bone action there as Mutou checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
A counter left hand to the body from Mutou misses its target.

Mutou tries to counter with a takedown but Laoka is quick to defend against it.
Mutou swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mutou uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Laoka.

Mutou shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Laoka as he avoids it easily.
Laoka dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Mutou. That did some damage!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Laoka jabs Mutou right on the nose. Mutou blinks but takes it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mutou bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Laoka's guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Katsu Laoka will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

That was a close second round but I would say that Keiji Mutou will probably get the nod.

Laoka has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Oh Mutou is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

After the fight, Katsu Laoka was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
