Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Kovalev (ranked 883 p4p, 115 weight class) and DJ Gunnar (ranked 2497 p4p, 264 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovalev swings widly with a right hand
and Gunnar counters with a two punch combo.
Kovalev misses with a wild combination.
Gunnar throws a fast counter high kick but Kovalev manages to duck under it in time.
Gunnar misses with a hook
enabling Kovalev to counter with a crisp jab.
Gunnar scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Gunnar scores with a jab. Kovalev acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Gunnar flashes Kovalev a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Kovalev's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Kovalev crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Gunnar punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
