Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Pablo (ranked 8367 p4p, 626 weight class) and Rambo Machida (ranked 5632 p4p, 551 weight class). Lucas Pablo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pablo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Machida tries to land a front kick but Pablo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Pablo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Machida shoots in for a takedown but Pablo shows good takedown defense.
Pablo tries to clinch but Machida moves out of range.
Machida is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Pablo tries to score with a low kick but Machida moves his leg out of the way.
Machida shoots in looking for a takedown but Pablo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Machida's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Machida unleashes a big counter combination but Pablo bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Machida dives in and grabs Pablo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pablo pushes down on Machida's head and hops out.

Pablo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Machida pinned against the cage. Machida gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pablo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Machida paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Pablo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Machida manages to avoid it.

Machida gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pablo prevents the takedown attempt.

Pablo wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Machida breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Machida misses the shot to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pablo.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Machida.
Pablo blocks a leg kick.
Pablo cracks a nice hook into Machida's ribs.

Machida closes the distance and clinches.
Machida blocks an elbow strike.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pablo pulls guard successfully.
Machida wants to control from the top but Pablo keeps moving.

Machida decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pablo, up you get!

Pablo throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Pablo leaves Machida with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pablo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Machida circles away.
Machida appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Pablo gets tackled into the cage by Machida. Machida maintains the clinch.

Machida wants the takedown. Pablo is fighting it off but Machida persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Pablo's guard against the cage.
Machida wants to control from the top but Pablo keeps moving.
Machida is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Pablo working for a triangle but Machida defends it easily.
Pablo is breathing heavily.
Pablo pulls Machida in close to prevent any damage.

Machida in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Machida drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pablo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pablo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pablo!

Machida is trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Rambo Machida will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Machida rushes Pablo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Machida jumps guard and drags Pablo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Machida wants to take a breather but Pablo manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Machida.
Machida must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Pablo controls Machida momentarily but Machida frees himself.

Pablo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Machida can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Machida looking to sit in guard and control but Pablo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Machida wants to hit a switch here but Pablo passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Machida there!

Pablo landing strikes from the mount and Machida is in trouble!

Pablo has the hooks in. Machida is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pablo is working for a rear naked choke. Machida is not defending it well and Pablo has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Machida refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Machida's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lucas Pablo!
A very excited looking Lucas Pablo rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
