The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman tries to clinch but Licker is having none of it.

Licker closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Freeman's guard.

Freeman is looking for a triangle here but Licker uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Licker in side control lands a decent elbow.
Licker content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Freeman is looking to regain half guard here but Licker keeps moving and retains side control.
