Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Damen Mayer (ranked 638 p4p, 85 weight class) and Tytus Aleksy (ranked 847 p4p, 109 weight class). Tytus Aleksy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

We've been hearing reports that Mayer has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Aleksy tries to kick Mayer off but Mayer keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Mayer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mayer controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
