Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matola Machava (ranked 4613 p4p, 537 weight class) and Ruben Saiz (ranked 3869 p4p, 476 weight class). Matola Machava could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ruben Saiz's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saiz moves out of range of the strikes.
Machava throws a leg kick which misses Saiz's front leg but catches the back leg as Saiz tries to avoid it.
Saiz misses with a right hand
and Machava counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Ruben Saiz has been cut.
Machava has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Fist of Fury Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Saiz slips a straight right by Machava.
Saiz misses with a hook. Machava ducked under it nicely.
Machava works the jab nicely.
Saiz misses with a looping left.
Saiz misses with a few strikes there.
Machava throws a quick counter kick to the body but Saiz avoids it.
Machava thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Saiz if he has to take too many more of those.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab from Saiz finds it's way through Machava's defenses.
Machava fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Saiz checks it well.
We've been informed that Saiz has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Machava throws a big uppercut that drops Saiz! More strikes from Machava and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Saiz lies dazed against the ropes as Machava celebrates with his cornermen!
