Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sicko Mode (ranked 5481 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caio Mario (ranked 4253 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mario on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mode lands with a nice body kick.
Mode scoring well with a low kick there.
Mode connects with a leg kick. Mario looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Mario looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mode tries to clinch but Mario is having none of it.
Mode throws a lazy body kick

and Mario counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Mario wants to pass the guard but Mode is keeping the position.
Mario stands and throws Mode's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Mario is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Mario has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Mode is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mario yanks on the arm and Mode is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mario.
