Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between DJ Boom (ranked 3251 p4p, 264 weight class) and Kantemir Khashukaev (ranked 3777 p4p, 286 weight class). DJ Boom could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kantemir Khashukaev's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, DJ Boom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kantemir Khashukaev!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khashukaev looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
It looked like Boom wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Kantemir Khashukaev comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Khashukaev has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
