OC! Grappling 5 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Indigo Starseed (ranked 11989 p4p, 574 weight class) and Mamed Khalidov (ranked 2254 p4p, 243 weight class). Khalidov has chosen Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 14 wins and 9 losses; Indigo Starseed! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 3 losses; Mamed Khalidov!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Khalidov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Khalidov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Khalidov goes for an armbar but Starseed turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Starseed.

Khalidov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
