Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Wright (ranked 22428 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tobin Frost (ranked 6825 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wright might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Warped Mind. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Wright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
16 - 7 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Tobin Frost!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wright takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Frost scores with a jab to the body.
Frost scores with a spinning back kick!
A thudding body kick lands there by Frost!
Wright closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wright definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Wright takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Frost moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Frost.
Frost lands with a hook. Wright tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Frost connects with a leg kick. Wright looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Frost throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wright.
A left lands for Frost.
Frost lands an overhand right.
Wright tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Frost lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Wright shoots in for a takedown but Frost shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Frost! But no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wright with a poor takedown
and Frost counters with a stiff right hand.
Wright takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Frost lands with a nice body kick.
A head kick from Frost lands but Wright takes it in his stride.
Wright has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Frost finds it's way round the side to connect with Wright's head.
Wright is rocked!
Wright misses with an attempted mid kick.
Wright fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alex Wright. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Frost bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Frost throws a leg kick which misses Wright's front leg but catches the back leg as Wright tries to avoid it.
Frost cracks Wright with an open hand slap.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wright tries to clinch but Frost is having none of it.
Wright takes a body punch but keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Wright on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Wright stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Frost.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Frost, right into the meat.

Frost tests Wright's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Frost lands with a kick to the temple. Wright shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Oh Wright is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Frost, right into the meat.
Wright seems to have got his legs back now.
Frost cracks Wright with a good jab.
Frost getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Frost connects with an inside leg kick.
Frost throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Alex Wright has been cut.

Nice takedown defense from Frost. No joy for Wright on that attempt.
Frost throws a fast counter high kick but Wright manages to duck under it in time.
Wright on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A jab from Frost does it's job there.
Tobin Frost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wright gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Frost gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tobin Frost!
An out of breath Tobin Frost thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
The defeated Alex Wright had this to say: 'When I sign a contract, I really want to give 180%. And if I can't give that, it's just not fair to the promotion and it's not fair to the fans and it's not fair to myself'.
