Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Jack (ranked 3488 p4p, 351 weight class) and Iosif Cobzone (ranked 4023 p4p, 406 weight class). Joe Jack had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 267.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Iosif Cobzone will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jack darts in looking for a takedown but Cobzone gets double underhooks and turns Jack into the cage.
Cobzone's coach down at VenDettaGYM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cobzone's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jack looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Jack takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Jack. That's going to take a lot out of him.
