Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Haze (ranked 983 p4p, 110 weight class) and Felipe Feltre (ranked 1400 p4p, 146 weight class). Feltre has chosen Someday Never Comes as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Haze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Felipe Feltre!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feltre has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Haze.
Haze misses with a jab to the body
and Feltre counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Haze throws a leg kick but Feltre checks it.
Feltre pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Feltre throws a nice outside leg kick.
Haze misses with a low kick.
Haze lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Feltre uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Haze.
Haze misses the body punch
and Feltre counters with a stiff right hand.
Feltre looks to land a body kick but Haze moved away.
A head kick misses from Feltre.
Feltre throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Haze.
Haze cracks Feltre with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Feltre connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Haze drives through with a takedown into Feltre's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Feltre working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Haze doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Haze manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Haze stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Feltre swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Feltre escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Haze gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Feltre utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Haze lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Haze got a little sloppy there for a moment and Feltre has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Haze has managed to get both his arms back between Feltre's legs - danger averted.

Haze is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Feltre is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Haze has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Feltre is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Haze frees his head nicely. Oh but Feltre has switched to an armbar! Haze is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
