PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bed Intruder (ranked 101 p4p, 13 weight class) and Dieter Schmidt (ranked 373 p4p, 45 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Intruder might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Bed Intruder. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Intruder throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Intruder misses with a wild body shot.
Intruder misses with a low kick as Schmidt jumps back.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Schmidt.
Good standup being displayed there by Intruder as he connects with a hook.
Schmidt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Intruder moves away.
Intruder tries to counter with a takedown but Schmidt is quick to defend against it.
A slow jab from Schmidt misses its intended target.
Schmidt takes a swing at Intruder's ribcage but misses.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Schmidt lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Intruder has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Intruder and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Schmidt cracks Intruder with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Schmidt lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Schmidt walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Intruder checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schmidt walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Schmidt throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Intruder on the side of the head.

And Schmidt responds with a good body kick, but Intruder manages to step out the way in time.
