Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mace Blackblood (ranked 791 p4p, 115 weight class) and Bruno Brunatny (ranked 3234 p4p, 405 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Blackblood might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gorgoroth Open the Gates. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brunatny throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Blackblood to counter with a crisp jab.
Brunatny throws a leg kick but Blackblood sees it coming and moves out of range.

Brunatny has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clinched against the cage, Blackblood lands a big elbow that drops Brunatny! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Brunatny is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
