The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loveladdy takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Loveladdy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Loveladdy thinks about countering with a body kick.
Masterson tries to score with a low kick but Loveladdy moves his leg out of the way.

Loveladdy quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Masterson, as that shot connected.

Valentine Masterson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Masterson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Loveladdy moves away.
Loveladdy takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Loveladdy uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Masterson.
Loveladdy jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Masterson sizes up Loveladdy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Masterson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Loveladdy drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Masterson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Loveladdy's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
