PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bomb Bombs (ranked 701 p4p, 82 weight class) and Brent Boston (ranked 1033 p4p, 116 weight class). Brent Boston told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boston checks a leg kick.
Boston slips under a jab.
Boston looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Bombs has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Grind Time [ *Double Elite Coaches] in the buildup to the fight.
A punch lands to the side of Boston 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Bombs clobbers Boston with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bombs loads up on a big right hand but Boston slips the punch.

Bombs tests Boston's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Boston has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Boston there as he acknowledges the shot.
Boston goes for a double leg but Bombs avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bombs continues to drive forward.

Bombs wants to hold on but Boston pushes him away.
Bombs is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Boston feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Boston displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bombs throws out the jab.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
