Vipunen comes to the cage accompanied by Solonen ft. Kosola - LÄSKI!. Aapeli Vipunen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vipunen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Cpw.
Cpw swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vipunen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Vipunen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cpw looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A telegraphed right hand from Vipunen misses the target.
Vipunen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Cpw throws a jab but it's blocked by Vipunen.
Vipunen scores with a hook to the body. Cpw takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Cpw fails to land with a series of punches.
Vipunen fires out a quick counter leg kick but Cpw just manages to avoid it.

Cpw has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Cpw bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cpw's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Vipunen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cpw scrambles back to his feet.

Cpw missing with a left hand there. Vipunen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Vipunen tries to land a front kick but Cpw steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Vipunen throws an overhand right that lands on Cpw's shoulder, as Cpw tries to avoid the shot.
Both fighters circling a little - Vipunen finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Cpw might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Vipunen staying out of range there.

Cpw tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Cpw smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Cpw darts in and clinches Vipunen up against the cage.
Cpw fails to pull guard.
Vipunen misses with a short punch on the inside.
A frustrated look appears on Vipunen's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Vipunen lands an uppercut.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Vipunen.

Cpw gets control of Vipunen's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cpw will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Cpw is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vipunen is aware though and is defending well.

Cpw misses with a hook to the body
and Vipunen comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Cpw stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Vipunen is on him like rabid pit bull! Cpw slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

Aapeli Vipunen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
