The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Carsara misses with a series of wild punches.
Diaz tried to counter with a leg kick but Carsara avoided it.
Diaz digs a good hook to Carsara 's body.
Carsara takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Carsara on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Carsara misses with a double jab
and Diaz counters with a straight right hand.
Diaz throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Carsara looks winded!
Diaz thumps Carsara with a low kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Diaz.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carsara walks into a stiff left hand from Diaz.
Diaz lands a nice looking kick to the body. Carsara takes a step back to recover.
Diaz connects with a single shot there.

Carsara is rocked!

It looks like Giorgio Carsara has been cut.
Diaz thows a body kick. Carsara tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Carsara is still on wobbly legs! Can Diaz finish him?
Diaz moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Carsara gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Diaz gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

After winning the bout, Carlos Diaz thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
