Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 26 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jer Bear!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


It looks like Jer Bear has been cut.

Anstey is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Anstey uses his free foot to push down on Bear's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bear.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Anstey throws a series of punches but Bear avoids them all with ease.

Anstey closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bear's guard.

Bear uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Anstey is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bear can do to turn this around?

Anstey takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bear shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Anstey napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Anstey sneaks out the side door and pushes Bear away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Anstey here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Anstey closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Anstey lands in his opponent's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bear bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Anstey tries for a takedown but Bear sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Anstey tries to bum rush Bear with a series of wild strikes but Bear uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bear shoots in looking for a takedown but Anstey manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bear's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bunny Anstey will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Anstey tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Anstey has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Bear manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Anstey manages to get to full guard.

Bear got a little sloppy there for a moment and Anstey has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bear has managed to get both his arms back between Anstey's legs - danger averted.

Bunny Anstey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
