Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Murray Rothbard (ranked 1617 p4p, 251 weight class) and Mike Snow (ranked 2090 p4p, 309 weight class). Rothbard comes to the cage accompanied by Anarchy. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Snow!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rothbard fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Snow.

Snow has managed to clinch.

Snow breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Snow throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rothbard counters with a nice body shot.
Rothbard uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Snow.

Snow rushes Rothbard and presses him up against the cage.
Rothbard works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Rothbard makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Rothbard struggles to land a body shot inside as Snow controls his hands.
Snow can't find room to land a body shot as Rothbard controls the action.

I was talking to Rothbard's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Snow has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rothbard regains guard immediately.

That was a close round but I would say that Murray Rothbard will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Snow throws a head kick but Rothbard moves out of range.

Rothbard swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Snow gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Snow's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Rothbard lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Rothbard lands a hook to the side of the head.
Rothbard tries to throw a body punch but Snow avoids it by throwing Rothbard back against the cage.
Snow blocks a body shot from Rothbard.
The referee is keeping an eye on Snow - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Rothbard lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Snow.
Rothbard lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Rothbard lands with a right to the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Rothbard.
Rothbard lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Snow or not.
Snow tries to break the clinch but Rothbard is controlling the position.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
