Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Cahill (ranked 1009 p4p, 40 weight class) and Benjamin Kueller (ranked 1448 p4p, 78 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tim Cahill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Benjamin Kueller!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kueller slips a jab from Cahill.
Kueller throws a counter combo.

Kueller scores with a takedown into Cahill's guard.

Kueller is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Cahill is pulling down on Kueller's head. It's preventing any offense from Kueller, at least for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cahill utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Cahill is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Kueller slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Cahill controls Kueller momentarily but Kueller frees himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Kueller drives through with a takedown into Cahill's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Cahill looking for a guillotine here but Kueller defends easily.
Kueller wants to control from the top but Cahill keeps moving.
Kueller is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Cahill might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Cahill swinging wildly here.
Cahill fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kueller on the side of the head.

Kueller has managed to clinch.
Kueller with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Kueller lands a good knee to the midsection. Cahill won't want to take too many of those.
Cahill can't find room to land a body shot as Kueller controls the action.
Kueller misses with a punch on the inside.
A right handed body shot lands from Cahill.
Cahill lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kueller or not.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Cahill digs a right hand underneath Kueller's ribcage. Kueller let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Kueller tries to land a knee to the head but Cahill blocks with his arms.

Cahill pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kueller shoots for a double leg takedown but Cahill sprawls well. He's pushed Kueller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Benjamin Kueller dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Cahill throws a right and a left that Kueller avoids nicely.
Tim Cahill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kueller scores with the left hand. Cahill knows he should have avoided that one.
Kueller has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Cahill looks to land a left hand but Kueller moved out of range nicely.
Cahill swings for the body but Kueller moves out of range.

Kueller is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cahill's half guard.

Kueller is nestled in close to Cahill, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kueller has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Cahill has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kueller is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cahill is doing well to control the position and prevent Kueller from advancing to side control.
Kueller working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The referee warns Cahill that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kueller lands a big elbow - Cahill is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Cahill is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Benjamin Kueller!
Benjamin Kueller opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
