The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tomaz looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Gracie has managed to clinch.
Tomaz missing with knees to the body.
Gracie has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tomaz after a bit of a struggle.
Tomaz stalls.

Tomaz is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gracie is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tomaz to the mat. Tomaz regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Tomaz is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Gracie dives into side control.

Gracie is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Tomaz will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Gracie lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Tomaz is looking to get back to his feet here but Gracie is keeping cool and he's managed to take Tomaz's back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Tomaz! Can he survive? No! He's out! Gracie gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
