The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Boston. Those never looked like landing.
Boston throws a right and a left that Beecher avoids nicely.
Beecher scores with a jab to the head.
Boston misses with a head kick.

and Beecher counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Beecher blocks a head kick by Boston.
Boston takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Beecher moves into the clinch.
Boston lands a hook that snaps the head of Beecher backwards.

Beecher really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Beecher has Boston pressed against the cage, preventing Boston from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

With the fighters up against the cage, Beecher throws an elbow but misses.

Boston is trying to drag Beecher to the mat but Beecher just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Boston lands a leg kick that knocks Beecher off balance momentarily.

Boston throws a series of strikes that have Beecher backpedaling.

Beecher's corner calls for a 1-2. Beecher obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Beecher fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Boston.

Beecher throws a big uppercut that drops Boston! More strikes from Beecher and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Boston lies dazed against the cage as Beecher celebrates with his cornermen!

Paul Beecher spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
