Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Konstantin Kuznetsov (ranked 2928 p4p, 120 weight class) and Edwin Lucan (ranked 5127 p4p, 182 weight class). The key to victory for Konstantin Kuznetsov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Reed Andrews and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuznetsov leaves Lucan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kuznetsov needs to keep his hands up - Lucan had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Konstantin Kuznetsov has been cut.
No joy there for Lucan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lucan fails with the takedown.
Kuznetsov feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Lucan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lucan cracks Kuznetsov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Lucan goes for a double leg but Kuznetsov avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kuznetsov continues to drive forward.
Konstantin Kuznetsov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edwin Lucan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuznetsov shoots in and gets a takedown into Lucan's guard.
Kuznetsov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lucan works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lucan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kuznetsov manages to get himself to full guard.

Kuznetsov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Lucan tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lucan avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kuznetsov.
Lucan manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kuznetsov's best efforts.

Kuznetsov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lucan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kuznetsov has managed to get both his arms back between Lucan's legs - danger averted.
Lucan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Lucan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kuznetsov is just riding it out for now. Lucan eventually gives up the hold.
