Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between DJ Maximus (ranked 158 p4p, 19 weight class) and Hulk Butane (ranked 231 p4p, 26 weight class). Butane has chosen Genesis as his entrance music. DJ Maximus had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hulk Butane!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butane swings widly with a right hand
and Maximus counters with a stiff right hand.
Butane misses with a hook
letting Maximus counter with a right hand.
Maximus thuds a left hand into Butane's body.
Maximus avoids a kick to the body.
Maximus throws a body punch but Butane moves out of range.
Butane walks into a jab.
Maximus misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Butane.
Butane's corner calls for a 1-2. Butane obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like DJ Maximus has been cut.

Maximus lands a big uppercut and Butane crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Butane looks OK. Maximus waves Butane back to his feet!

Butane is rocked!

It looks like Hulk Butane has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Maximus ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Butane's jaw. Butane's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Maximus does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). DJ Maximus!
A less than humble DJ Maximus misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
