The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rogers looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Mckenzie!
Mckenzie is being controlled here.
Mckenzie tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Rogers presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Mckenzie looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight.
Rogers wants to control the pace but Mckenzie is squirming around nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rogers unloads with some shots from mount but Mckenzie bucks and avoids them well.

Mckenzie tries to lock up and control but Rogers gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Rogers throws a left that rocks Mckenzie and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Rogers dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Mckenzie regain composure!

It looks like Chet Mckenzie has been cut.
You can see the frustration on Mckenzie's face as Rogers controls the position.
Let's hope that Rogers has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Rogers.
Mckenzie looks to move to half guard but instead Rogers has passed into mount! Damn!
Mckenzie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Mckenzie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Mckenzie sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Rogers wants to control but Mckenzie is keeping him busy.

Mckenzie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rogers is working away from the top position though.
Mckenzie wants to get back to full guard but Rogers has mounted him!

Rogers is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Mckenzie can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Steve Rogers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!


Mckenzie looks to score with a jab to the body but Rogers is just out of range.
Rogers is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Mckenzie shoots in and bounces Rogers off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Rogers has his feet on Mckenzie's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Mckenzie drives through with a takedown into Rogers's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Steve Rogers has got the better of the ground game so far.
Mckenzie throws an elbow that misses. Rogers uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Mckenzie's guard. Nice move by Rogers!

Rogers won't allow Mckenzie to sweep him here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rogers stands up and waves to Mckenzie to follow him.

Mckenzie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rogers has managed to free his arm - good work.

Rogers looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Mckenzie takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Mckenzie enables Rogers to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mckenzie manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Rogers not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Well Rogers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
