Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Handleman (ranked 1664 p4p, 58 weight class) and Jeff Diaz (ranked 2799 p4p, 129 weight class). Handleman's entrance music is Pride FC Theme. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handleman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Diaz doesn't seem bothered though.
Diaz shoots in for a double leg but Handleman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Handleman is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Lovelair Muay Thai/MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Diaz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Handleman uses from the top position.
