Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Feihck Tiote (ranked 1761 p4p, 207 weight class) and Conrad Poohs (ranked 2320 p4p, 274 weight class). Poohs has chosen Born of Fire as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiote misses with a takedown attempt - Poohs sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Poohs gets caught napping as Tiote dives in and scores a takedown. Poohs manages to retain guard.
Tiote wants to pass the guard but Poohs is keeping the position.

Poohs looks to score with a jab to the body but Tiote is just out of range.
Tiote moves away from the strike by Poohs.
Tiote dives in and grabs Poohs's left leg, looking for a takedown. Poohs pushes down on Tiote's head and hops out.

Poohs has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Tiote throws a strike but Poohs rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Tiote has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Poohs can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tiote had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Poohs defends it easily.

Poohs throws a lazy right hand but Tiote sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Poohs is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tiote.

Tiote is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tiote avoids the body shot from Poohs.

Good leg kick by Poohs there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Tiote shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Poohs but Poohs pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tiote is looking to take a break and control but Poohs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tiote is landing with some decent strikes but Poohs is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
