Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richie Fortune (ranked 2953 p4p, 401 weight class) and Montavious Jordan (ranked 3055 p4p, 415 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Richie Fortune!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Montavious Jordan!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Steve Erwin and Ben Hemmingworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortune's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jordan under the eye.
Jordan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.


It looks like Montavious Jordan has been cut.
Fortune misses with an uppercut. Jordan saw that one coming.
Fortune jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jordan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Jordan closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Jordan tries for a kimura but Fortune is defending well.
Fortune is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Fortune sneaks back into half guard.

Jordan seems to be working for a kimura but Fortune defends the submission attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jordan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fortune doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jordan.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fortune is trying to get back to full guard.
Jordan is pressing down on Fortune's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fortune is holding on for now.
Fortune moves into full guard.

Jordan drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fortune looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fortune looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fortune!

Jordan tries to improve position but can't.
Jordan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Fortune definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fortune controls the position from side control.
Jordan tries to improve position but can't.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Jordan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fortune wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Fortune taking a breather here.
Fortune trying to control the position but Jordan is working away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jordan manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fortune's best efforts.
Fortune is taking a breather. Jordan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Jordan looking for submissions off his back.
Fortune is looking to take a break and control but Jordan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jordan works his way to full guard. Good work.

Jordan throws his legs up looking for a submission but Fortune uses it to pass to side control.
Fortune controlling the position from side mount.
Jordan gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Jordan told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Fortune not doing much here.

Jordan looking for submissions off his back.
Fortune trying to control from half guard but Jordan is working away.
Jordan tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Fortune has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Jordan manages to regain half guard. Good work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fortune looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Richie Fortune will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Montavious Jordan's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Fortune swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fortune leaves Jordan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jordan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fortune as he jumps to the side.
Fortune tries to bum rush Jordan with a series of wild strikes but Jordan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fortune feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jordans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jordan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fortune pinned against the cage. Fortune gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Richie Fortune has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Montavious Jordan.
Fortune jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jordan misses with a takedown attempt

and Fortune counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jordan! Fortune lets Jordan back up to his feet, looking for a finish!


Jordan is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jordan bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Fortune comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Jordan falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Jordan was out before he hit the floor!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Richie Fortune!
A relieved looking Richie Fortune thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
