Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Bolleke (ranked 2268 p4p, 267 weight class) and Man Itizer (ranked 2784 p4p, 309 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Itizer misses the shot to the body.
Itizer takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Bolleke moves out of range of the body kick.
A jab from Bolleke misses.

Bolleke moves into the clinch.
Itizer misses with a hook from the clinch.
Bolleke scores with a nice hook to the head.
Bolleke blocks a body shot from Itizer.
Itizer is trying to stall.
Itizer swings wildly with an uppercut but Bolleke uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bolleke lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bolleke has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Itizer is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Bolleke pulls Itizer into guard.
Bolleke has a closed guard, preventing Itizer from standing up.
Bolleke is pulling down on Itizer's head. It's preventing any offense from Itizer, at least for the moment.
Itizer wants to control from the top but Bolleke keeps moving.

Bolleke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Itizer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Itizer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Itizer wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Bolleke's closed guard. He's half up but Bolleke has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Bolleke pivots and extends the arm, Itizer falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Bolleke! Well done that man!
