Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamison Cassidy (ranked 643 p4p, 100 weight class) and Krit Leekpai (ranked 962 p4p, 147 weight class). Cassidy comes to the cage accompanied by Space Oddity by David Bowie. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jamison Cassidy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Krit Leekpai!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Chris Dean and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassidy needs to keep his hands up - Leekpai had a free shot at his head there.
Cassidy tries for a takedown but Leekpai sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cassidy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Leekpai to the mat! Leekpai manages to get full guard.
Leekpai wants to sweep here but Cassidy controlling him for the moment.
Cassidy controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Cassidy throws a big elbow that misses.
Cassidy content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Cassidy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Leekpai works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cassidy drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Leekpai dives on top into guard.
Leekpai must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Cassidy keeping moving, preventing Leekpai from controlling successfully.
Leekpai wants to stand but Cassidy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Cassidy looking for a guillotine here but Leekpai defends easily.
Cassidy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Leekpai doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Leekpai manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Cassidy looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Leekpai in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Leekpai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cassidy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Leekpai avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cassidy working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Leekpai has passed into half guard!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cassidy tries to get to full guard but Leekpai has control of the leg.
Cassidy is not content to let Leekpai control the position.
Well, if Leekpai is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Leekpai throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Cassidy looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Cassidy tries to roll over but Leekpai keeps him under control.
Cassidy is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Leekpai's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Leekpai's back!

Leekpai avoids the strikes from Cassidy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cassidy is looking for the choke from the back position but Leekpai is controlling his hands well.
Leekpai trying to control the hands but Cassidy breaks the grip.
You can see the frustration on Leekpai's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Leekpai won't enjoy being in this position. Cassidy looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Leekpai is tapping - it's over boys! Cassidy picks up the submission victory!
