Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kamden Jackson (ranked 1909 p4p, 283 weight class) and Voodoo Daddy (ranked 3548 p4p, 443 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jackson might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Valparaiso. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kamden Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Voodoo Daddy!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daddy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Daddy tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range.
Daddy doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Jackson keeps the fight on the outside.
Jackson dives in and grabs Daddy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Daddy pushes down on Jackson's head and hops out.
Jackson looks to score with a jab to the body but Daddy is just out of range.
Daddy looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Daddy moves into the clinch successfully.
Daddy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jackson.
Jackson wants a takedown but no success here.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Jackson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Daddy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Jackson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Daddy prevents it.
Jackson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Daddy gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Jackson is trying to force a seperation but Daddy has the dominant position.
Jackson jumps guard but Daddy stands there with Jackson around his waist. Jackson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jackson jumps guard but Daddy stands there with Jackson around his waist. Jackson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Daddy makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Daddy lands a left hand.
Jackson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Daddy lands with a right to the head.
Daddy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jackson.
The referee is keeping an eye on Daddy - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Daddy works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Voodoo Daddy dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Daddy swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jackson.
Daddy lands with a hook. Jackson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Daddy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Daddy tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Jackson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jackson.
Daddy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jackson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Daddy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jackson, into his guard.

Jackson wants to sweep but no luck.

Jackson looking for a guillotine here but Daddy defends easily.

Jackson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daddy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Daddy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Jackson is pulling down on Daddy's head to control his posture.
Jackson is looking to sweep but instead, Daddy has passed into half guard.

Daddy prevents Jackson from improving his position.

Jackson has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Daddy. Oh but Jackson has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Daddy goes limp - he's gone! Jackson jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
