Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nabuje Winger (ranked 6401 p4p, 260 weight class) and Bartlomiej Jan (ranked 5771 p4p, 0 weight class). Bartlomiej Jan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Winger swings wildly with an uppercut but Jan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jan is trying to break the clinch but Winger has him pressed against the cage.
A shot in the inside from Winger.
Winger lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jan backwards.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Winger creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Winger struggles to land a body shot inside as Jan controls his hands.
Winger misses with a hook from the clinch.
Jan looking to throw knees to the head but Winger is blocking nicely.
Jan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Winger misses with some punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winger stops a takedown attempt from Jan.
Winger misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Jan pulls guard.
Jan will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jan is controlling Winger's posture.

Winger will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Jan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Winger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jan on the ground.
Winger tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Jan has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Winger tries to lock up and control but Jan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jan lands a big elbow.
Winger is looking to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Jan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
