Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Prana Halo (ranked 20753 p4p, 262 weight class) and Martin Hewitt (ranked 9039 p4p, 239 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 7 losses; Prana Halo! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Martin Hewitt!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Hewitt clinches.

Hewitt tightens his grip and picks Halo up, before dumping him to the ground. Halo manages to land in guard.

Halo seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Hewitt slips nicely into half guard.

Hewitt is looking for a kimura but Halo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hewitt to get the leverage.

Hewitt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Halo is just riding it out for now. Hewitt eventually gives up the hold.
Halo is looking to improve his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Halo is doing well to control the position and prevent Hewitt from advancing to side control.
Hewitt tries to pass to full mount but Halo defends it.

Hewitt wants to work for an arm triangle but Halo is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Halo keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Halo is refusing to be controlled, as Hewitt sits in half guard.
Hewitt might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Halo haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Halo is looking to improve his position.

Hewitt seems to be working for a kimura but Halo defends the submission attempt.
Hewitt is looking to pass Halo's guard but actually Halo recovers to full guard.
Halo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Halo is on top in guard.

Halo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Halo controls the position.
Hewitt felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Halo wants to control but Hewitt is keeping him busy.
Hewitt is looking for a sweep.

Halo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hewitt looks calm but he's in trouble here. Halo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hewitt is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Halo lets go of the hold and Hewitt can pop his arm back in it's socket.
