Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Johns (ranked 20601 p4p, 698 weight class) and Felipe Silva (ranked 3962 p4p, 485 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Johns gets tackled into the cage by Silva. Silva maintains the clinch.

Johns pulls guard.

Silva decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Johns, up you get!
Silva works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Don Johns has been cut.

Silva has managed to clinch.

Johns pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Johns tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Silva lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Silva walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Johns fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage.
Silva blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Silva throws a head punch that misses.
Silva has Johns pushed against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Johns misses with a hook to the ribs.
Johns lands a nice uppercut.
Silva wants to stall.

Johns breaks the clinch.
Johns misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Silva.

Silva clinches up with Johns and pushes him back against the cage.
Silva manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Silva blocks an uppercut.
A short right from Silva on the inside.
Johns jumps guard but Silva turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Johns.
Silva has a couple of punches blocked by Johns.
Silva has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Johns seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Silva can turn it around.

Silva breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Johns lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Silva sprawling to the canvas. Johns follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Silva hang on?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Silva tries to kick Johns off but Johns keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johns. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Johns drops an elbow to the side of Silva's head.
Silva wants to get back to his feet.
