Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Connor McGregor (ranked 17345 p4p, 581 weight class) and Marco Polo (ranked 13532 p4p, 575 weight class). Polo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. On The Floor kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor is looking to slow Polo down with leg kicks.

Polo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McGregor looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

McGregor was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
McGregor swings for the body but Polo moves out of range.
Polo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McGregor misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - McGregor's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
